Second Sunday Sunday School
During the school year, Sunday school classes meet on the second Sunday of each month during the 10:30 AM service. Our program does not use any set curriculum. Our creative leaders teach lessons based on the church's liturgical calendar: Advent, Lent, Easter, etc., and will vary depending on the number and ages of children typically in attendance. For the younger children, we incorporate hands-on activities, singing, crafts, bible stories, and videos. For the youth, we focus more on discussions and service projects to give them a solid foundation for their life-long journey with Christ.
The Sunday school year typically kicks off as part of our annual Outdoor Eucharist celebration, held the 2nd weekend in September. Watch our events page for updates about group activities that are kid and family friendly!
ABOUT OUR VIDEO DEVOTIONALS
To ensure the safety of our children and teachers during the pandemic, in-person Sunday School classes at St. Hugh were suspended during 2020 and 2021. Given the unusual circumstances of that time, we offered on-demand devotional content for our children and families.
These family video devotionals were created by our Children's Ministries staff and can be still accessed on-demand. They are available on our YouTube Channel and we hope that you will enjoy watching these videos together!
The devotionals are based on the Love First Project curriculum, which focuses on the many messages of love that are in the Bible. For more information about this approach, please visit https://lovefirstresources.com/.
WHERE TO WATCH?
